Media retention policy

This policy applies to all Eazpost customers, including media uploaded before this policy took effect. Eazpost is not a permanent backup of your original media. Download originals you want to keep.

Original post media: 90 days

Images, videos, documents and associated thumbnails become eligible for removal 90 days after a post finishes publishing or reaches a final failed state. Existing completed posts and their original media older than 90 days are also eligible. Where completion dates cannot be established reliably, we retain the file for review.

What we protect

Media needed by drafts, future scheduled posts, queued or processing posts, approval requests, and partially failed posts is protected. If a file is shared with a protected post, we keep it. Active brand assets, WhatsApp templates and campaign media, and AI knowledge attachments are outside this post-media cleanup.

What remains available

Post history, captions, analytics and links to published posts remain available. Expired originals cannot be downloaded or reused from Eazpost; re-upload the file to repost. This cleanup does not delete posts on connected social platforms. Availability on those platforms is governed by their own policies.

Recovery and deletion

Removed originals normally have a seven-day recovery window in our storage backup. Contact support@eazpost.com promptly to request recovery; recovery is subject to the file still being available. After this window originals are permanently removed.

Leads and AI Inbox

This policy does not introduce automatic deletion of leads, conversation messages or AI knowledge. Their retention will be described separately before any automatic deletion is enabled.
